What is the Extreme Makeover 40-Day Challenge?
The Challenge is based off the best-selling book, Body by God: The Owner's Manual for Maximized Living by Dr. Ben Lerner.  In addition to writing two New York Times bestsellers, Dr. Ben has served as one of the team physicians for the U.S. Wrestling Teams in six World Team Competitions and two Olympiads.  The 40-Day Challenge consists of 6 weekly workshops lead by a local Maximized Living Certified Instructor.  Workshops are typically held at local gyms, churches, YMCAs and businesses in your area. As a Challenge Participant, you will have the opportunity to learn about the principles of nutrition, exercise, stress management and time management.  In addition to learning these topics, you will also learn the 4 Olympic Rules of Success:  Discover and Develop Your Gifts, Possess a Superior Plan, Follow the Plan and Be Inspired to Win.  By the end of the 40 days, you will have developed healthy habits and have been equipped to improve upon and maintain these habits to live a long, healthy and fulfilled life.

What do you need to participate?
You will need to purchase the Extreme Makeover:  God's Way book which is a 40-day workbook that you will use to learn the principles of Maximized Living, establish your baseline physical and spiritual health, set your goals, document your progress and more.  These books and other materials will be available through your local Instructor Dr Joe Accurso
